The propaganda continued with a second transmission, which decodes to: “NI HAR BLIVIT LURADE AV ERA LEDARE. ORDEN DE TALAR ÄR ICKE SANNA. VI VILL HA FRED.” This brazen attack on Super Earth’s authority translates to: “YOU HAVE BEEN DECEIVED BY YOUR LEADERS. THE WORDS THEY SPEAK ARE NOT TRUE. WE WANT PEACE.”
The Automaton Legion has been particularly bold lately, even managing to seize tactical data for the “Star of Truth” planetary laser. The current Major Order commands Helldivers to secure Cyberstan, with High Command aiming for “the total liberation of the system to prevent the inevitable development of socialist mundicide capabilities.”
While the Automatons are the primary suspects, veteran players believe a different architect is at work: the Cyborgs from the first game. Sharp-eared fans noticed that the audio cues at the end of a recent Warbond trailer sounded distinct from standard bot chatter. “Those are the Cyborg voice lines from Helldivers 1, without a doubt,” one user noted on Reddit, sparking speculation that the classic threat is “back on the menu.” Across Discord, the hype is palpable, with many predicting an imminent Cyborg invasion.
Whether this is an elaborate Automaton ruse or the dawn of a third faction, the stakes are clearly rising. Arrowhead CEO Shams Jorjani recently teased an update where “a lot of Helldivers will die,” and these binary threats might be the opening salvo. Stay vigilant, Helldivers.
Looking for more frontline news? Helldivers 2 recently brought back a fan-favorite service technician, much to the delight of the community and the voice actor involved.
