Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton marked their fifth wedding anniversary in high style this week. The couple, whose romance blossomed on the set of The Voice in 2014 before they tied the knot on July 3, 2021, shared a glimpse into their celebratory evening on Monday, July 20.
“5 year wedding anniversary date night with my forever @blakeshelton ❤️gx,” the 56-year-old singer captioned an Instagram reel set to her 2004 track, “Luxurious.” The video captures the pair looking polished—Shelton in a crisp tuxedo and Stefani in a stunning, floor-length pink sequined gown by Yara Shoemaker.
Stefani, clearly enamored with the ensemble, filmed herself showcasing the dress’s intricate beading and her silver Maison Valentino heels. Ever the playful partner, she quipped to the camera, “It’s our five-year anniversary and Blake will not let me take any pictures of him,” even as she panned to the country star, who offered a sheepish grin from the car during their night out in New York City.
The mood shifted to a more relaxed vibe on the ride home, with a jovial Shelton breaking into a rendition of Montell Jordan’s 1995 hit, “This Is How We Do It.” Reflecting on the milestone, Stefani noted, “It’s been a really fun five-year anniversary with me and the Sheltonator—eleven years together in total.”
Notably, the couple’s special day took place during the same timeframe as the high-profile wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, held at Madison Square Garden.
