GTA VI Launch Trailer Remade in GTA IV, Including an Even Stranger Shower Scene
A user going by Joseph Kaplan has recreated the Grand Theft Auto VI launch trailer in GTA IV. Rockstar Games published the original trailer recently, and some scenes in the remake look a bit odd with the older models.
Kaplan used in-game assets to rebuild key scenes from the promo video for the new entry in the franchise. One of the main heroines, Lucia Caminos, is from Liberty City, the city where GTA IV takes place. Some players have long theorized about her potential connection to Niko Bellic.
Kaplan managed to carry over most of the GTA VI trailer’s scenes, with some caveats. The protagonist now polishes a car instead of a boat. In action scenes, the character and his opponents sometimes clip through textures. The robbery scene looks less epic, and in the “shower” scene the couple is wearing clothes. GTA fans are now waiting for a remake based on GTA: Vice City and San Andreas.
Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to release on November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

GearOS Play’s also recreated the GTA VI trailer in the newer GTA V, and the shower scene came out better in that version.
