GTA VI Details Leak 3 Days Ahead of Official Gameplay Reveal

A massive wave of leaks has surfaced just three days before an official Grand Theft Auto VI presentation, revealing story missions, gameplay mechanics, and world details.

Footage circulating online suggests the leaker obtained access to a substantial, near-complete build of the game. The clips show story objectives involving Lucia, various hairstyle and beard options for Jason, and his safehouse in the Key Lento area.

The leaked materials highlight a large, detailed map. Aerial footage over nighttime Vice City showcases dense traffic, an airport, and the Mount Kalaga mountain range. The game also incorporates wildlife systems similar to Red Dead Redemption 2, featuring dedicated fishing spots for different species alongside permanent inventory slots for a fishing rod and binoculars.

The videos confirm body dismemberment when pedestrians are struck by heavy vehicles, volumetric smoke from cigarettes and damaged cars, and minigames such as pool. Indoor environments feature advanced character physics and cinematic camera angles.

Robberies at convenience stores and gas stations now include limits on how much cash players can carry, requiring manual collection of bills. Players can inspect vehicles by opening the hood and select weapons using a full weapon wheel while driving.

Police pursuits in the footage feature Buffalo STX cruisers and trucks. Certain stolen cars are equipped with GPS trackers that help police locate them rapidly, forcing the player to evade pursuit or switch to an untracked vehicle.

Smaller world interactions are also visible across the clips. Players can refuel and repair vehicles without stepping outside, while Jason can use restrooms and speak with homeless NPCs. Non-playable characters actively defend their property and use turn signals while driving. Radio stations heard in the clips include V-Rock, Emotion 98.3, and Symphony FM, featuring tracks by Jamiroquai, Tommy Richman, and Bad Company.

The Grand Theft Auto VI presentation is scheduled to debut August 27 on Netflix before streaming on YouTube.
