Gillian Anderson, globally recognized for her iconic portrayal of skeptic Dana Scully in The X-Files, has shared her perspective on the upcoming series reboot helmed by Ryan Coogler (Sinners). The actress spoke highly of the project, characterizing the pilot script as exceptional and lauding Coogler as a “remarkably gifted” visionary.
“I would urge fans not to jump to conclusions just yet and to give this project a fair chance; it’s going to be something truly spectacular. It is a completely fresh take, something incredibly unique—certainly not something you’ll want to overlook,” Anderson remarked.
It was previously confirmed that Danielle Deadwyler will take on a leading role in the production, with Jennifer Yale (Legion) serving as the series showrunner.
