George Kittle Says Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Requested ‘Absolutely No Gifts’ From Wedding Guests

As the highly anticipated wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce approaches, San Francisco 49ers star George Kittle has shared a unique detail regarding the couple’s plans for their big day: a strict “no gifts” policy.

“They explicitly requested absolutely no gifts,” Kittle shared during an interview with ExtraTV at the Tight Ends & Friends concert this past Tuesday (June 23). Despite this clear instruction, Kittle admitted he is still brainstorming a thoughtful, modest token of appreciation for his teammate. “I’ve been considering getting him an antique coin,” he revealed. “It seems like something he’d genuinely appreciate—though, admittedly, it might be a bit of a splurge.”

The trio—Swift, Kelce, and Kittle—gathered at The Pinnacle in Nashville for this year’s Tight End University, an annual philanthropic initiative established by the two NFL stars alongside Greg Olsen. The event concluded with the “Tight Ends & Friends” concert, featuring a surprise appearance by country sensation Lainey Wilson, who was joined on stage by Swift for an impromptu duet of “Love Story.”

“We have a special request from a very special tight end,” Swift told the crowd before beginning the track. “He specifically wanted to hear this song. That tight end is none other than George Kittle.”

With reports suggesting the nuptials will occur over the Fourth of July weekend, Kittle expressed his gratitude for the couple’s presence during such a busy time. “It’s incredibly gracious of her to share her time with us so close to their wedding date; we are truly honored they joined us,” he told People.

Even Chiefs head coach Andy Reid weighed in on the gift-giving etiquette with characteristic humor. When asked about his plans for the couple, he quipped, “I’m planning to gift Travis a few new plays—just a couple of fresh routes. That should make him as happy as anyone could be.”
