Hoyoverse is preparing to launch Petit Planet, a life-simulation experience positioned to compete with Animal Crossing and other relaxing “cozy” titles.
The company has opened free playtests for Petit Planet on PC and mobile devices. You can join by submitting an application on the publisher’s official website.
Hoyoverse has also released a new gameplay trailer. From the initial footage, the title looks warm and inviting and could present serious competition to Nintendo. Interest is further heightened by Petit Planet’s free distribution. The full 1.0 release is expected in early 2026.
