Frankie Valli Cancels Remaining 2026 Tour Dates to Prioritize His Health

Legendary vocalist Frankie Valli has officially stepped away from the spotlight for the remainder of the year. The 92-year-old icon announced that he is canceling all remaining tour dates for 2026 to prioritize his personal well-being.

“I sincerely apologize to everyone who planned on attending these shows. I have made the difficult decision to suspend my touring schedule for the rest of the year so that I can focus entirely on my health,” Valli shared in an official statement posted to the group’s Instagram account this past Friday.

He expressed heartfelt gratitude to his fans, adding, “I look forward to recovering and connecting with you all again in the near future. Thank you for your continued support and kind words.” While the specific nature of his health concerns remains private, the news marks a significant pause for the veteran performer.

Valli had been in the midst of “The Last Encores Tour,” an ambitious farewell circuit that kicked off in 2023 and had recently been extended through late 2026. The trek was scheduled to visit several major U.S. markets throughout the summer and autumn months.

Reflecting on his enduring passion for the stage in a recent radio interview, Valli emphasized that his drive was never about the pursuit of celebrity. “You must remain loyal to your craft and love the process,” he noted. “If I hadn’t achieved this level of success, I’d likely still be performing in small lounges. My love for music is simply that profound.”

Last year, the Recording Academy honored Valli with a Lifetime Achievement Award—a poignant milestone for an artist who charted five No. 1 hits with The Four Seasons and two as a solo act. During the ceremony, he reflected on his decades-long journey with signature humility: “It has been a truly remarkable evening. I’m not quite sure why it took this long, but that is simply how life unfolds.”
