First Look at Real GTA VI Advertisements Surfaces Without Grand Theft Auto Branding
Restrictions mean that certain promotional materials will take a unique form.
The release of Grand Theft Auto VI is approaching, and the marketing campaign for the new installment in the franchise is gradually ramping up.
Several weeks ago, reports indicated that representatives from Rockstar Games and Take-Two attempted to negotiate potential advertising placements in Miami to transform the city into Vice City. Although authorities initially opposed the idea, recent reports revealed that the advertising discussions were approved under specific conditions.
For instance, reports noted that the game will be promoted without directly mentioning the Grand Theft Auto franchise. Instead, the strategy involves using restrained advertising, such as displaying the Roman numeral “VI” alongside “Vice City”.
User Joel Franco published an aerial photograph on social network X showing that preparation for the advertising has already begun, stating that advertising structures featuring GTA VI branding are being prepared in downtown Miami.
Judging by the presented footage, the promotion of Grand Theft Auto VI in Miami will indeed proceed without directly mentioning the franchise name.

Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for release on November 19 of this year for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. Rockstar Games and Take-Two have not officially announced anything regarding a release window for the PC version.
