Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis Is Getting A Demo And A Sephiroth

Eager fans looking to experience Final Fantasy Resonance ahead of its official launch are in for a treat. During a recent State of Play broadcast, Sony and Square Enix revealed that a playable demo is available today, building anticipation for the game’s October 22 release. The title is slated to launch across a wide array of platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
Additionally, developers confirmed that the iconic antagonist Sephiroth will grace the game with his presence. Because Final Fantasy Resonance serves as a comprehensive, reimagined port of the mobile hit Final Fantasy Brave Exvius—which famously crossed over with numerous legendary characters from across the franchise—Sephiroth’s inclusion comes as little shock, especially alongside Cloud. Nonetheless, official confirmation is certainly welcome news for longtime series enthusiasts.
