The Okko streaming platform and Sreda production company have officially announced the completion of principal photography for their latest dramatic series, Hospice.
The project was spearheaded by Evgeny Stychkin (Patient Zero), who serves as both the creator and the lead actor. The narrative centers on Viktor Shturm (Stychkin), a world-renowned cardiac surgeon whose distinguished career is derailed by a fatal medical error. Compounding his crisis, Viktor learns that his first wife is battling a terminal illness in a hospice facility. Upon taking a position there, Shturm embarks on a journey of deep introspection and life-altering realization.
The screenplay was penned by Marina Stepnova (Fire Boy) and Vyacheslav Rovner. The supporting cast features a talented ensemble including Marina Vasilyeva, Maria Abramova, Olga Sutulova, Vladimir Mishukov, and Grigory Vernik.
An official premiere date for Hospice is expected to be announced soon.
