Filming of Panos Cosmatos’s New Movie Has Wrapped
According to World of Reel, production has officially concluded on Flesh of the Gods, the third feature film directed by Panos Cosmatos.
Set in the neon-drenched backdrop of 1980s Los Angeles, the narrative follows a married couple, Raoul (Wagner Moura) and Alex (Kristen Stewart). Each night, they descend from their opulent high-rise apartment into the urban underworld, plunging into a realm defined by hedonism, brutality, and surreal temptation. Cosmatos, who co-wrote the screenplay alongside Andrew Kevin Walker—renowned for his work on David Fincher’s thriller Se7en—describes the film as a “hypnotic voyage into the glittering heart of hell.”
The project is being distributed by A24, with a theatrical release projected for 2027.
