Taylor Swift has officially captured the top spot in this week’s music poll with “I Knew It, I Knew You,” a heartfelt original track written specifically for the highly anticipated Toy Story 5 soundtrack.

Following a poll launched on Friday (June 6), readers overwhelmingly selected the singer-songwriter’s latest offering as their favorite new release. Swift dominated a competitive week of music that featured fresh arrivals from Tinashe, Vybz Kartel, Niall Horan, Role Model, and Lizzo. By Sunday evening, Swift secured a commanding lead, claiming 35% of the total vote.

After dropping a series of cryptic, cloud-inspired hints, Swift shared her excitement about the project on social media. “I’ve dreamed of writing for these characters since I was five years old,” she noted. “Seeing early footage of Toy Story 5 sparked instant inspiration, and I penned this track the moment I walked out of the screening.”

The new single marks a creative reunion between Swift and longtime production partner Jack Antonoff. Musically, the track serves as a nostalgic nod to her earlier pop-country roots. Lyrically, the song evokes themes of homecoming and enduring affection: “I remembered I loved you/ Came back when it mattered, I saw you/ Standing there in the light of the window wearing that same smile/ Man, it’s been a while/ But I knew it, I knew you,” she sings with trademark warmth.

The song’s debut was paired with an enchanting animated video featuring classic clips of Woody, Buzz, and Jessie. Fans can catch Toy Story 5 when it officially hits theaters on June 19.

While Swift claimed victory, Tinashe’s “Too Easy” followed closely behind with 28% of the vote, while Vybz Kartel’s God & Time and Niall Horan’s Dinner Party rounded out the leaderboard with 18% and 5% respectively.
