Fans Choose JENNIE’s ‘Fallen Angel’ as This Week’s Favorite New Music

JENNIE’s new EP Fallen Angel finished first in Billboard’s weekly new music poll with more than 82% of the vote.

Billboard opened the poll on Friday, August 28, and closed voting on Sunday. Readers chose the BLACKPINK member’s release ahead of new music from Olivia Rodrigo, Ky-Mani Marley, Alex Warren, Alabama Shakes and other artists.

Fallen Angel is JENNIE’s first solo collection since the 2025 album Ruby. The three-track digital EP includes “Less Than a Lover,” the title track and “Heaven.” ODDATELIER and Columbia Records released the project.

The title track arrived with a music video on August 28. Its lyrics center on asking someone to stay and finding a shared home.

A physical CD edition expands Fallen Angel to six songs with “Sweettooth,” “Lockitdown” and “Face.” Orders from JENNIE’s official store are expected to ship on October 30.

Other releases in the poll included Olivia Rodrigo’s “Serena Joy,” Ky-Mani Marley’s Love and Energy, Alex Warren’s WILDCHILD and Alabama Shakes’ I Must Be Dreaming.
