SCS Software announced the new deadline on January 12, 2024.

Cruising Kansas ran in American Truck Simulator. When the extension was announced, players had driven more than 112 million miles while hauling cargo to and from Kansas. The community target was 125 million miles. The extra time also kept the event’s personal goal and its truck and cabin rewards available.

Christmas Winterland ran in both Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. Its community goal had already been completed, unlocking every reward tier. Players still had to finish their personal goal to claim those rewards. The Christmas Winterland desktop background was excluded from the extension and disappeared on January 15, 2024 at 23:59 UTC.
