Evgeny Tsyganov to Star in New “Fisher”
Yevgeny Tsyganov is set to headline the fourth season of the thriller series “Fisher.” The announcement was confirmed by the press office of the streaming platform Wink.
The upcoming season, officially titled “Fisher: Black Prospect,” will feature Tsyganov alongside newcomer Oliver Mara. The creative helm for the new episodes belongs to directors Sergey Taramaev and Lyubov Lvova.
“While we were still filming the second season of ‘Children of Change,’ we conceived an idea and a central character specifically for a new ‘Fisher’ story. It was designed with Yevgeny Tsyganov in mind, as we had long hoped to collaborate with him. We reached out immediately to pitch the character concept; Yevgeny loved the vision and signed on right away,”
— the showrunners remarked. The narrative of this fourth installment is set against the backdrop of 1990s Tver. The plot follows Platonov (Mara), a young investigator arriving from Moscow following a scandal, who begins working under the guidance of the seasoned veteran Titov (Tsyganov). Together, the duo attempts to solve a string of gruesome murders plaguing the city.
An official release date has not yet been announced. The project is being produced by Fyodor Bondarchuk. The “Fisher” franchise debuted in 2023. Its most recent chapter, “After Fisher: The Inquisitor” starring Alexander Petrov, premiered in May 2026 and was met with a mixed reception from critics.
