Escape from Tarkov Developers Reveal Roadmap: 1.0 Changes Coming to EFT: Arena Along with EOD Skin
Long-time owners of the Edge of Darkness edition are finally closing in on their promised rewards.
The development team behind Escape from Tarkov recently shared a comprehensive sitrep, outlining the status of current patches and unveiling a roadmap for upcoming content drops.
The competitive spin-off, EFT: Arena, is set to receive several key features ported from the main 1.0 update. Additionally, players can expect the debut of the “Overrun” game mode and a significant overhaul of the “Shootout” experience.
Evolution of the core Escape from Tarkov experience remains a priority. Developers are currently focusing on vital performance optimizations and a complete rework of the raid reconnection logic to improve technical stability.
Furthermore, the studio provided a closer look at the exclusive cosmetic attire reserved for Edge of Darkness edition holders—a high-tier clothing set that was briefly teased by Nikita Buyanov earlier this February.
