Escape from Tarkov Adds Limited-Time Achievement as Scourge Invasion Event Expands

Players who have already finished the quest chain will receive the achievement soon.

Battlestate Games has expanded the Scourge Invasion event in Escape from Tarkov and added a new achievement. The developers launched the event in October, and it again sends players on raids to The Lab to complete several quests.

According to the in-game story, the standoff in The Lab continues: “The PMCs hired by Therapist keep interfering in the operation of Ref’s men, and the underground complex is drawing more and more attention.”

Unless the schedule changes, the Scourge Invasion event in Escape from Tarkov will run until October 26 at 10:00 Moscow time. Participants can add a unique achievement to their collection by completing the event’s quest chain. Players who have already completed it will receive the achievement “in the near future.”

The developers also made balance changes to the stats of Scourge and his entourage:

• Health has been reduced for all body parts.
• Field of view has been narrowed.
• Bullet spread at long range has been increased.
• Enemy detection speed has been lowered.
