English Edition of The Legend of Mana: 30th Anniversary Art Book Arrives Next July
Game Informer reports exclusively that Dark Horse Books and Square Enix will publish an English edition of Legend of Mana: The Art of Mana – 30th Anniversary Edition for the first time. This deluxe hardcover collects roughly 80 pages of artwork and archival materials drawn from the original 1999 PlayStation RPG (which arrived in Western markets in 2000 and received a remaster in 2021).
The volume brings together original illustrations from the game’s initial release alongside brand-new commissions created specifically for this anniversary edition. Contributing artists include Yukata Koyama, Shinichi Kamoeka, Masaki Takahashi, HACCAN, and Kanta Kamei.
Inside you’ll find an extensive selection of visual material: maps and artifact designs, pixel art of characters, Mystic Card artwork, boss and creature illustrations, newly drafted selection-screen artwork, character sketches, and scenic background paintings.
The book is scheduled to arrive in U.S. bookstores on July 28, 2026, with comic shops receiving copies on July 29, 2026. Pre-orders are available now through major retailers such as Amazon and Barnes & Noble, as well as at independent comic shops. The suggested retail price is $29.99.
For additional context on the game itself, see Game Informer’s remaster coverage and their Replay episode revisiting the original Legend of Mana: remaster feature and Replay: Legend of Mana.
