Jennifer Lawrence told reporters that she and Emma Stone are developing a film focused on Miss Piggy — the beloved character from The Muppet Show. Both actresses may appear on screen, though their principal roles are expected to be as producers.
The screenplay will be penned by comedian Cole Escola, who previously worked on the animated series Big Mouth.
It’s been more than ten years since the most recent Muppet film was released.
