Within a week of the shooter’s launch, 98% of matches were free of players using prohibited software.
Electronic Arts has published data on its new anti-cheat system, Javelin. Since the launch of Battlefield 6, the system has successfully blocked 2.4 million attempts to run banned software.
For context, Javelin already intercepted 1.2 million cheating attempts during the open beta.
So far the anti-cheat identifies 190 distinct cheating programs and hardware tools. Of those, 183 have publicly acknowledged malfunctions or detections, or have stopped selling — or ceased support for — their Battlefield 6 cheats.
EA says it will continue to enhance the anti-cheat and streamline the process for reporting suspicious behavior.
