Netflix and Sony Pictures Animation have officially unveiled the title and inaugural logo for their upcoming animated series set within the Ghostbusters universe. The project is titled Ghostbusters: Night Shift.
The announcement was made during the Ghostbusters Day festivities in New York, where the series’ official branding was showcased for the first time. The show is being helmed by showrunners Ben Hibon and Elliott Kalan, with Jason Reitman and Gil Kenan serving as executive producers.
While the narrative will unfold within the expansive Ghostbusters cinematic world, specific plot details and casting information remain under wraps. What is certain, however, is that the series represents a significant milestone in the franchise’s evolution through animation.
Ghostbusters: Night Shift is currently slated for release in 2027.
