KATSEYE is pushing boundaries, and fortunately, Hollywood royalty Demi Moore has stepped in to guide them.

The celebrated actress makes a striking cameo appearance in the girl group’s cinematic music video for their latest single, “Animal,” which premiered on Friday, July 24. Within the visual narrative, members Lara, Megan, Daniela, Yoonchae, and Sophia—performing without Manon, who remains on a temporary hiatus—navigate a series of high-tension sequences. They execute razor-sharp choreography inside a crimson enclosure, monitored closely by a panel of suits observing through one-way glass.

Interestingly, those corporate executives bear a striking resemblance to KATSEYE themselves. Donning tailored neckties and structured fringe wigs, the members brilliantly parody the classic industry gatekeepers they have undoubtedly encountered on their rapid ascent to global stardom.

“Nobody knows you’re outta control / But I see a side behind the closed doors,” they croon toward the assembly of critics, who ultimately express their disapproval by tearing up the group’s headshots. “They get a glimpse here on the dance floor / You move like an animal.”

Frustrated by their inability to impress the executives across the glass, KATSEYE frantically ransacks a dressing room in a desperate bid to curate the ultimate look. It is precisely at this moment of chaos that Moore intervenes, exuding effortless composure while seated in a director’s chair.

“Animal” serves as the latest taster from KATSEYE’s highly anticipated upcoming EP, Wild, slated for release on August 14. Fans have already been treated to the infectious lead single, “Pinky Up,” which made an impressive splash by debuting at No. 28 on the Billboard Hot 100 back in April.

“People simply have no idea what goes on behind the scenes,” Lara shared during a candid interview with Vanity Fair in June regarding her bandmate, who stepped away in February to prioritize her health and well-being. “They just don’t understand. There is nothing but pure love between us.”
