Delicious in Dungeon Season 2 Character Illustrations Shown

The second season of the fantasy anime Delicious in Dungeon will arrive on Netflix in fall 2027. The creators have now released new character art.

The illustrations show four characters from the second season: Falin, Kabru, Mithrun, and Sissel. Along with the main images, the team published chibi-style miniature versions of the characters.

The anime is based on the manga by Ryoko Kui. In the story, Laios’s party loses its money, supplies, and his sister Falin after an encounter with a red dragon. To rescue her, the heroes must return to the dungeon and find food along the way. Laios proposes cooking meals from the monsters they meet.

Studio Trigger is again producing the second season. Yoshihiro Miyajima remains director, Kimiko Ueno handles series composition, and Naoki Takeda is responsible for character design. The music is composed by Yasunori Mitsuda, whose credits include Chrono Trigger and Xenoblade Chronicles.

The first season, which has 24 episodes, aired in 2024. The sequel will arrive on Netflix in October 2027, but the exact premiere date is not yet known.
