Death Stranding movie will not feature graphic violence

Director Michael Sarnoski has shared insights into the creative vision for the upcoming Death Stranding film adaptation currently in development.

According to the filmmaker, audiences can anticipate a grand, high-stakes cinematic experience brimming with kinetic action and dynamic sequences. However, he clarified that the level of onscreen violence will be significantly more measured than what is typically found in contemporary action-thrillers.

Sarnoski emphasized that the production team is avoiding gratuitous gore or shock-focused content. Despite the grim, post-apocalyptic nature of the source material, the adaptation aims to prioritize emotional gravity, suspense, and the spirit of adventure over visceral depictions of bloodshed.
