The highly anticipated PC port of the iconic courier simulator is set to arrive this March.
Sony, in collaboration with Nixxes Software, has officially detailed the hardware specifications for the PC version of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach.
This edition will feature several platform-exclusive enhancements:
- Uncapped frame rates
- Support for ultrawide and super-ultrawide monitors
- Full DualSense controller integration (a wired connection is required to utilize haptic feedback and adaptive triggers)
- Comprehensive compatibility with leading upscaling and frame generation technologies, including NVIDIA DLSS, AMD FSR, and Intel XeSS
The developers also clarified that ray tracing will not be supported in this release.
Minimum System Requirements (1080p at 30 FPS, Low settings):
- CPU: Intel Core i3-10100 or AMD Ryzen 3 3100
- RAM: 16 GB
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 or AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT (8 GB)
Recommended Requirements (1080p at 60 FPS, Medium settings):
- CPU: Intel Core i5-11400 or AMD Ryzen 5 5600
- RAM: 16 GB
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (12 GB) or AMD Radeon RX 6600
High-End Performance (1440p at 60 FPS, High settings):
- CPU: Intel Core i7-11700 or AMD Ryzen 7 5700X
- RAM: 16 GB
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800
Ultra Performance (4K at 60 FPS, Ultra settings):
- CPU: Intel Core i7-11700 or AMD Ryzen 7 5700X
- RAM: 16 GB
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX
Regardless of the configuration, an SSD and 150 GB of free disk space are mandatory.
Currently a PlayStation 5 exclusive, the PC version is scheduled for launch on March 19.
