DC’s Next Superman Epic Officially Reveals Villain in Glorious New Trailer

The highly anticipated third season of My Adventures with Superman, the stylish anime-inspired reimagining of the iconic DC hero, arrives on screens next month. To build excitement, Adult Swim has unveiled an extensive first look at the new episodes, highlighting a relentless Man of Steel, his formidable new cyborg adversary, and the introduction of Superboy.

This upcoming season draws inspiration from the classic 1990s Reign of the Supermen storyline, which explored the power vacuum left behind in the wake of the hero’s supposed death at the hands of Doomsday. While the Man of Steel is alive and thriving in this series, the narrative effectively incorporates the menacing Cyborg Superman, a staple antagonist in the comic book mythos.

Joining the cast this season is Superboy, voiced by Darren Criss. As a clone of Superman, he brings a rebellious, youthful energy to the conflict, especially during his intense clashes with Cyborg Superman. With Supergirl already firmly established in the fold following her major role in season 2, the stage is set for an all-hands-on-deck confrontation against their metallic foe.
