Dates Announced for the Anniversary Cannes Film Festival

The Cannes Film Festival organizers have officially unveiled the dates for its landmark 80th edition. The prestigious event will take place on the French Riviera from May 11 to May 22, 2027.

As per tradition, the official selection of competing films and the distinguished members of the jury will be revealed in April. The most recent festival concluded with a triumph for the Romanian drama “Fjord,” starring Sebastian Stan, which took home the coveted Palme d’Or.

The list of notable honorees also featured Andrey Zvyagintsev’s “The Minotaur” and Pawel Pawlikowski’s “Homeland,” among others.
