Dataminer Finds Dead Space Crossover in Battlefield 6 Files
Data miner Temporyal has discovered 36 unreleased outfits in the game files that could potentially arrive in Battlefield 6 in the coming months, indicating that the developers may significantly expand their approach to cosmetics.
EA previously built its marketing campaign for Battlefield 6 in contrast to the Call of Duty series, which many critics fault for losing its identity and featuring absurd cosmetic items.
Before the release of Battlefield 6, Battlefield Studios repeatedly emphasized that it intended to stick to a more grounded and realistic visual style for in-game outfits. When the developers first showcased an overly bright blue skin, players criticized its design, prompting the team to tone down the outfit’s color scheme.
However, the new files found by Temporyal include items tied to a potential crossover with Dead Space and the Medal of Honor series.
