A new historical series titled “Golitsyn” has been officially announced. The project is a collaboration between streaming platforms Ivi and Wink, alongside the Russia television channel.
The lead role of the legendary winemaker Lev Golitsyn will be portrayed by Danila Kozlovsky. The series chronicles the life of the aristocrat who revolutionized the Russian wine industry. Throughout his journey, the protagonist navigates personal romance and forms deep bonds with allies, while simultaneously contending with ruthless foreign monopolies and corrupt officials.
The cast also features Svetlana Ivanova, Ksenia Kutepova, Anton Shagin, Sergey Lavygin, and others. The production is helmed by director Sergey Chekalov (“Konstantinopol”). The official release date will be announced in due course.
