Daniel Craig featured in new still from Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew
Empire magazine has unveiled fresh promotional stills from Netflix’s upcoming adaptation of C.S. Lewis’s classic, “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew.” One of the highlights features former James Bond star Daniel Craig in a prominent role.
Craig portrays the enigmatic Uncle Andrew Ketterley, the sorcerer whose machinations lead his nephew, Digory Kirke, to discover the magical realm of Narnia. The film is helmed by director Greta Gerwig, known for her work on “Barbie.” The star-studded cast also includes Meryl Streep as the voice of Aslan the lion, alongside Carey Mulligan and Emma Mackey, who takes on the role of the formidable White Witch, Jadis.

“The Magician’s Nephew” is slated for a theatrical release on February 12, 2027, followed by its streaming debut on Netflix on April 2.
In addition to his Narnia role, Craig has recently wrapped production on an untitled prison drama directed by Damien Chazelle, which is also expected to hit theaters next year.
