Dakota Johnson channels Marilyn Monroe for a new short film
Vanity Fair has unveiled the first exclusive stills from the upcoming short film “Flesh Impact,” a project commemorating the centennial of Marilyn Monroe’s birth.
The iconic Hollywood legend is portrayed at different stages of her life by Dakota Johnson (known for “Fifty Shades of Grey”) and Academy Award winner Ellen Burstyn (“Requiem for a Dream”). The 17-minute cinematic piece was helmed by director Maggie Gyllenhaal.
The film is scheduled to make its global debut this September at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival.
