Daba: Land of Water Scar to Feature Action Inspired by Black Myth: Wukong
Action-RPG Daba: Land of Water Scar is scheduled to launch on PS5 in spring 2027, featuring combat reminiscent of Black Myth: Wukong following a new gameplay presentation at State of Play Japan.
Following a long period of silence, developer Dark Star showcased its ambitious action-RPG once again as part of the PlayStation China Hero Project. The new trailer reveals details regarding the story and the protagonist.
Players control a clay puppet that awakens in a ruined world suffering from a severe drought. The hero must save the dying land while uncovering the mystery of their origin and purpose.
Combat served as the focal point of the presentation. The hero’s arsenal includes dual curved blades, a sword and shield, and a two-handed mace capable of breaking the defenses of armored enemies.
The developers are focusing on weapon variety, allowing players to adapt their combat style depending on the situation.
