Cristiano Ronaldo to star in football series from “Kingsman” director

Portuguese football icon Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly gearing up for his television acting debut, according to reports from The Sun.

Ronaldo is expected to make a guest appearance in Day 1s, a high-stakes sports drama helmed by director Matthew Vaughn, best known for his work on the Kingsman franchise and Kick-Ass. The series will be anchored by Damian Lewis (Homeland), who is set to portray an elite football agent named Stanley Dalton.

The star-studded cast is also rumored to feature appearances by French football legend Thierry Henry and rapper Dave. Production on the series is already underway in London, with a premiere date to be confirmed at a later time.
