Crimson Desert Update 1.18.01 Fixes Menu Slowdown Caused by Lantern
Pearl Abyss has released hotfix 1.18.01 for Crimson Desert, addressing several technical issues shortly after the launch of major update 1.18.00.
The hotfix targets a bug that delayed interaction menus when speaking to NPCs while holding an active lantern. It also resolves a problem where interior items placed in version 1.12.00 or earlier failed to display properly, and fixes visual errors in certain areas of the world map.

Hotfix 1.18.01 patch notes:
- Fixed an issue where opening the interaction menu was delayed when talking to an NPC with the lantern turned on.
- Fixed an issue where interior items placed in version 1.12.00 or earlier did not appear.
- Fixed an issue where the game closed unexpectedly right after logging in under certain conditions.
- Fixed an issue where specific areas on the world map were displayed incorrectly.
The development team is currently working on additional fixes. Pearl Abyss noted that enabling both FSR Upscaling and Frame Generation at the same time on GeForce GTX 1060 graphics cards can cause a white screen glitch.
