Cosplayer portrays Xanta from The Blood of Dawnwalker

Cosplayer INOE has transformed into an ancient vampire from the game The Blood of Dawnwalker, a character who constantly performs frantic blood rituals and dispatches enemies using powerful sorcery.

This week marked the release of The Blood of Dawnwalker on consoles and PC, bringing an open-world vampire action RPG set in a dark fantasy 14th-century Europe.

Although INOE does not plan to play the game—which reached a peak of 64,438 concurrent users on Steam—she fell in love with the vampire Xanta and created a cosplay of this memorable character.

Xanta’s appearance bears the mark of frightening antiquity and decay. Her body has suffered from the damaging effects of hundreds of lived years, making her look exhausted and repulsive, resembling a walking corpse rather than a conventional refined vampire. Marred by time, brutal surgical experiments, and dark magic, she appears before the player as a terrifying creature whose flesh is almost entirely devoid of life.

At first glance, Xanta seems completely insane as she constantly mutters to herself and listens to unseen interlocutors. Beneath this madness, however, lies an incredible and frightening wisdom. Xanta understands the true and horrific nature of the surrounding world much better than any mortal, leaving her in a state of profound and constant terror.

At the same time, she retains a maternal attachment that drives her to commit any atrocity. In combat, Xanta is an extremely dangerous sorceress who wields deadly magic.
