There, she regularly documents her journeys hauling cargo across the breathtaking landscapes of Scandinavia while also broadcasting engaging ETS2 gameplay sessions. Join us as she recounts how her lifelong romance with heavy machinery began.

“Finding my way into the transport industry was entirely unexpected, as nobody in my family had ever driven commercially,” Cassie reflects. “A close friend of mine had just earned his heavy-vehicle license and picked me up for school one morning in the oldest, most character-filled Scania I had ever laid eyes on. That single moment ignited a spark. I found myself thinking, *Could I do this too?* It felt adventurous and wonderfully liberating. I promptly enrolled in a professional driving academy, and the rest is history.”

Thirteen years have passed since Cassie first embraced this demanding lifestyle. Today, she balances part-time professional hauling with documenting her daily adventures for a massive online audience.

“Early on, my drive was relentless—I constantly wanted to shatter my personal records for daily deliveries. I had truly found my calling,” she admits. “However, maintaining that relentless pace for years eventually led to burnout, forcing me to reevaluate my routine. Today, I work a sustainable part-time schedule and have learned how essential it is to unplug and properly unwind.”

“Over the years, I’ve hauled everything from loose gravel and wood chips to specialized powder tankers. Currently, I transport general freight from Sweden across the border into Norway. Once unloaded, I typically pick up fresh catches from the Norwegian fishing industry. Those fisheries are often tucked away in remarkably intricate locations—navigating narrow village streets and steep, hairpin mountain passes, which becomes an extraordinary test of skill during the harsh winter months. From there, I head down to Denmark, where another driver takes over my trailer for continental distribution, and I secure a return load back home to Sweden.”

Despite the challenges, Cassie cherishes the profound tranquility and breathtaking scenery that accompany long-distance hauling.

“What I appreciate most are the mesmerizing vistas along my routes and the peaceful solitude,” she notes. “I get to immerse myself in music and engaging podcasts with minimal customer interruptions. Best of all, my faithful Chihuahua, Happy, gets to ride shotgun.”

This fascinating intersection between virtual simulations and heavy transport is a phenomenon we frequently encounter. “I had already established my career as a professional driver before discovering Euro Truck Simulator 2,” Cassie shares. “A colleague introduced me to it, and initially, the concept seemed absurd: why spend your workday behind the wheel only to come home and play a driving simulator? Yet, look where I am now!”

So, what makes a veteran commercial driver find joy and satisfaction in a video game emulation of their daily grind?

“I have the absolute time of my life streaming ETS2!” Cassie enthuses. “Out on the real highway, the heavy responsibility of safeguarding your cargo, equipment, and personal safety demands absolute, unbroken concentration. In contrast, virtual trucking lets me interact dynamically with my chat, convoy alongside viewers, answer questions, and simply unwind. If my digital rig executes an accidental acrobatic flip off a mountain because I was distracted reading chat messages, the consequences are practically nonexistent! I also thoroughly enjoy comparing virtual routes to their real-world counterparts and spotting familiar landmarks.”

Cassie’s journey into content creation began entirely by chance, eventually blossoming into a thriving digital community boasting more than 160,000 subscribers on YouTube alone.

“I launched my primary YouTube channel after being approached for a reality television project several years ago,” she explains. “The production required me to self-film my daily shifts as a commercial driver and submit the footage. Ultimately, the show was canceled before it ever aired, leaving me with hours of recorded vlogs. I realized I could edit and publish the material myself! Within weeks of uploading my first few videos, I gained thousands of subscribers—it was surreal. I later created a secondary YouTube channel dedicated strictly to gaming archives and past broadcasts to keep my content organized. And, of course, I stream regularly on Twitch whenever energy permits.”

We naturally had to ask how accurately Euro Truck Simulator 2 replicates professional driving dynamics.

“I find ETS2 remarkably authentic, especially when paired with a quality force-feedback steering wheel and pedal set,” Cassie affirms. “I actually know individuals who practiced mastering complex trailer reversals in the game before attempting them in reality, and they nailed it on the first try purely thanks to their virtual preparation.”

We were equally curious about how her driving style shifts between reality and the virtual realm.

“I definitely push boundaries and attempt much more reckless maneuvers in the simulator!” she laughs. “Viewers are often genuinely surprised when they watch my real-life footage and realize I actually know how to drive professionally, though I suppose my chaotic ETS2 stunts give them reason to wonder. I’d love to drive a vibrant pink MAN truck in the real world someday, but until then, I’m happy rocking a signature pink aesthetic inside the simulator.”
