‘Command & Conquer’ Successor Tempest Rising Receives New Features in Latest Update
The development team has overhauled control mechanics and introduced several key refinements.
The creators of the real-time strategy title Tempest Rising have unveiled their March “A New Quality of Life” update, which integrates a variety of fresh functionalities into the game.
A significant addition allows players to initiate a new campaign with all doctrines and equipment pre-unlocked from the opening mission. However, choosing this path will prevent the acquisition of achievements within that specific campaign profile.
- A “random faction” selection tool has been implemented for competitive matchmaking.
- New control shortcuts have been introduced: Ctrl+Alt+Q and Ctrl+Alt+W now enable the instant selection of all support units globally or those currently visible on the screen.
- The MMR system for ranked play has been recalibrated, with point gains and losses now capped at a maximum of 50 and a minimum of 8.
- Extensive balance tweaks and mechanical adjustments have been applied to numerous units.
