The STS network has officially announced that the hit series “Comeback” is scheduled to make its television debut on March 9th.
Featuring Alexander Petrov in the leading role, the drama originally premiered on the Kinopoisk streaming platform last autumn. The narrative unfolds in early 2000s Nizhny Novgorod, following three high school friends—Yura, Ptakha, and Oleg—whose attempt to assist a classmate named Dasha lands them in a perilous situation. Their unlikely savior is an amnesiac homeless man known as Kompot (Petrov). To show their gratitude, the trio embarks on a quest to help Kompot rediscover his forgotten identity.
The series was envisioned by Ilya Kulikov, the creator of “Policeman from Rublyovka,” with Dinar Garipov (“Prestige”) directing all episodes. The supporting cast includes Vasilisa Korostyshevskaya, Illarion Marov, Khetag Khinchagov, and Grigory Stolbov. Fans of the show have more to look forward to, as Kinopoisk is currently in the process of developing a second season.
