The Pan European Game Information (PEGI) ratings board has officially issued an age rating for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Splatoon 3.
Splatoon 3 has continued to evolve through consistent post-launch updates. The most recent of these arrived on September 3, 2025, bringing weapon balance adjustments and various quality-of-life improvements. Earlier, on June 12, 2025, a free update was released to optimize frame rates and visual fidelity specifically for the next-generation Nintendo Switch 2 hardware.
