Cody Rhodes Sparks Rumors of Involvement in X-Men Reboot
Wrestler and actor Cody Rhodes has sparked speculation about a potential role in the upcoming X-Men reboot.
Rhodes recently shared that he visited the Marvel Studios headquarters and subsequently posted a video featuring the theme music from the animated series X-Men ’97 on his personal account.
These posts prompted fans to discuss a possible appearance by Rhodes in the franchise reboot, especially since Marvel has revealed only a portion of the cast so far.
At the same time, the hints might not be related to the film at all. For example, Rhodes could secure a role in a future season of X-Men ’97 or simply express his affection for the franchise.
The wrestler is a long-time fan of the mutant comics and has previously brought this passion into the ring. Over the years, his wrestling gear has drawn inspiration from Mister Sinister and Archangel, while his current attire incorporates elements of Cyclops, whom Rhodes has called his favorite X-Men character.

The X-Men reboot will be directed by Thunderbolts director Jake Schreier. The premiere is scheduled for May 5, 2028.
