Clones Enter the Battle: Dupli-Kate Joins the Invincible VS Roster
The development team behind Invincible VS has debuted a new gameplay showcase for the title’s latest combatant. Joining the competitive roster is Dupli-Kate, the resourceful heroine known from both the original comics and the hit animated series.
The fresh trailer provides a deep dive into her move set, illustrating how her iconic cloning powers have been integrated into the game’s mechanics. Dupli-Kate relies on her signature duplication ability to launch unpredictable ambushes, weave together complex combos, and assault opponents from multiple directions simultaneously.
However, this tactical advantage carries a literal price: each spawned clone consumes a segment of the heroine’s health. Vitality can only be reclaimed if a duplicate safely merges back with the “prime” Kate before being eliminated.
Described by the creators as a “high risk, high reward” fighter, Kate’s playstyle emphasizes relentless offensive momentum and the strategic management of her copies during the heat of battle.
Invincible VS is a 3v3 team-based fighter where players can dynamically cycle through their roster using a tag system to maintain pressure and extend strikes. The project is deeply rooted in the universe established by Robert Kirkman and the acclaimed Amazon Prime adaptation.
The game is scheduled for release on April 30, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
