Chris Brown states that he was welcomed — and after that disinvited — to dip into the celeb 2024 NBA All-Star Game.
The vocalist uploaded affirmed screenshots of e-mails on Instagram Stories very early Saturday early morning (Feb. 17) that evidently invited him to the occasion.
One screenshot revealed an e-mail entitled “NBA All-Star 2024 Welcome x Chris Brown,” while an additional revealed a mockup of a blue attire he’d use as a component of Lil Wayne’s group. “We are thrilled that you will be part of the weekend!” reviewed the very first e-mail, which asked for a press-approved headshot and biography from Brown.
“I was asked by the NBA to play in the all star game this year! Only for them to call later and say they couldn’t do IT because of their sponsors, like RUFFLES,” Brown created on his Instagram Stories this weekend break. “At this point I’m sick of people bothering me and I’m tired of living in the f—ing past.”
“I POSTED THE EMAILS SO YALL COULD SEE. The NBA still was tryna get me to come and sit court side… NOT F—ING HAPPENING,” Brown claimed.
“I ONLY GO WHERE IM APPRECIATED,” he included.

Ruffles released a statement on Saturday, creating, “Ruffles sponsored last night’s NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, however we did not have any involvement in, nor visibility to, any player decisions or celebrity invite discussions.”
All-Star Weekend, being kept in Indianapolis, Indiana, began on Friday evening with the All-Star Celebrity Game, the game in which Brown would certainly have taken part. On Saturday evening, NBA celebrities play an abilities obstacle, three-point competition and bang dunk competition. The real All-Star Game — the centerpiece — occurs on Sunday.
