Chappell Roan, Cardi B, EJAE and More Among Donors to the ASCAP Foundation’s Annual Holiday Auction

The ASCAP Foundation has launched its fifth annual Holiday Auction. The online event began on Wednesday, December 3 and runs through December 17, offering more than 50 one-of-a-kind items and experiences generously donated by ASCAP members and friends.

Contributions span a wide range of artists and creators — from pop and R&B stars to veteran songwriters and composers. Donors include Chappell Roan, Rosé, Cardi B, Alex Warren and EJAE; singer-songwriters such as Noah Kahan, Laufey and Brandy Clark; country performers Kacey Musgraves, Old Dominion and Jordan Davis; music legends Lionel Richie, Alicia Keys and Ms. Lauryn Hill; and bands like Coldplay. Rising talents on the list include Lola Young and Jessie Murph. The auction also features gifts from film and television composers Stephen Schwartz (Wicked) and John Powell (How to Train Your Dragon), plus author James McBride (The Color of Water).

Highlights and experiences up for bid

Items range from collectible merchandise and signed memorabilia to VIP access and personal experiences. Featured lots include an autographed K-Pop Demon Hunters soundtrack, a Tate McRae-branded T-shirt, and meet-and-greet tickets to see R&B artist Ne-Yo perform in Hell’s Kitchen. Other offerings include VIP concert and sporting event tickets, autographed guitars and personalized video messages.

Where the proceeds go

All proceeds benefit the ASCAP Foundation’s programs that support emerging songwriters and composers. Over the past year, those music-education and talent-development initiatives reached more than 300,000 people, including roughly 70,000 K–12 students across 1,500 schools in the United States.

Nicole George-Middleton, executive director of the ASCAP Foundation, expressed deep appreciation for the generosity of the music community, noting that these donations are vital to raising funds that sustain opportunities for the next generation of music creators. The auction, she added, is the result of collaboration with artists and industry partners to assemble memorable experiences that bring holiday cheer to music fans while supporting education and creative development.
