Casting for the role of Colin Creevey in the second season of Harry Potter has begun

According to Deadline, auditions are officially underway to cast the role of Colin Creevey for the second season of the Harry Potter television series.

Production on the upcoming episodes is slated to begin this autumn. The second season will adapt the events of “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets,” reintroducing the character of Creevey, the enthusiastic Hogwarts photographer famously portrayed by Hugh Mitchell in the original Warner Bros. film franchise.

The main cast, featuring Dominic McLaughlin, Arabella Stanton, and Alastair Stout, is set to reprise their roles for the new season. The debut season, “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” is scheduled to premiere on HBO on December 25th of this year.
