Igor Voloshin’s fantasy feature Buratino is set to arrive on Russian streaming platforms on March 27.
Viewers can catch the film on Okko, Wink, and Kinopoisk. Since its theatrical debut on January 1, the production has become a massive success, grossing over 2.3 billion rubles. Based on the timeless fairy tale by Aleksey Tolstoy, the story follows the whimsical journey of the wooden boy Buratino and his band of loyal friends.
The movie boasts a star-studded cast including Vitaliya Kornienko, Fedor Bondarchuk, Alexander Petrov, Victoria Isakova, Alexander Yatsenko, and Mark Eydelshteyn. The screenplay was penned by Andrey Zolotarev and Aksinya Borisova (Ice 3), while the soundtrack was composed by Alexey Rybnikov—the legendary composer behind the original Adventures of Buratino—and his son, Dmitry.
