Bunnie Xo Says She’ll Turn Herself In After Discovering License Suspension

Bunnie Xo, the podcast host and spouse of country artist Jelly Roll, revealed on the November 21, 2025 episode of Dumb Blonde that she is preparing to surrender to authorities after learning her driver’s license had been suspended for years. The suspension stems from an unpaid traffic citation dating back to 2020, which she says originated from a minor incident while returning from a family trip in Alabama.
Addressing listeners with her trademark candor, she announced, “You guys, I’m going to jail,” then explained how a recent traffic stop exposed the long-standing suspension. According to Bunnie, she paid the outstanding fine as soon as she was made aware of it, assuming the payment would automatically restore her driving privileges — an assumption that ultimately proved incorrect.
She recounted being pulled over again days later for an alleged speeding offense; during that interaction a different officer informed her that her license remained invalid. Bunnie said the officer told her she needed to go to the local jail and book herself in sometime that week. Surprised to learn she’d been committing an arrestable violation without realizing it, she added that she’s retained legal counsel to handle the situation.
Far from dreading the process, Bunnie said she plans to make the most of it: if she does book herself, she intends to be glamorous for the mugshot and document the experience for her followers. “If I do — you guys have seen all my past mug shots — I’m going in glammed the f–k up, baby, and I’m going to vlog it,” she told listeners on the podcast.
This episode is not Bunnie’s first public encounter with the law. Earlier in November she posted a series of seven mugshots to Instagram, including an arrest from when she was 26 related to soliciting an undercover officer at a casino. At the time she wrote that she wasn’t ashamed of the images, calling them reminders of where she’d been and how grace has helped her move forward.
In the Instagram comments, Jelly Roll — who recently posted a video in which he became emotional over new Grammy nominations and also revealed he shaved his beard for the first time in years — publicly praised his wife, crediting her influence for much of his own personal growth.
