HBO has officially confirmed that Bohemian Rhapsody actress Lucy Boynton has joined the cast for the upcoming installment of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.
Boynton is set to portray Lady Rohanne Webber, the formidable noblewoman famously known as the “Red Widow.” Within the lineage of the Seven Kingdoms, she is recognized as the mother of the four Lannister brothers: Tywald, Tion, Tytos, and Jason.
The production has also expanded its roster with the addition of Peter Mullan (Ozark) and Babu Ceesay (Alien: Earth). Mullan will step into the role of Ser Eustace Osgrey, the liege lord served by the protagonist Ser Duncan the Tall (played by Peter Claffey), while Ceesay will take on the mantle of Ser Bennis of the Brown Shield.
While a definitive premiere date has yet to be finalized, the narrative will draw inspiration from George R.R. Martin’s novella The Sworn Sword. The plot is expected to unfold in the southern territories of Westeros, diving deeper into the complex history of the realm.
