Bodycam 0.8 Locked & Loaded adds Trenches map and 400 weapon attachments

Bodycam v0.8 Locked & Loaded was released on September 2, 2026. The free update expands the Steam Early Access shooter with a full loadout system, new equipment and a new battlefield.

Players can now customize weapons with around 400 attachments and thousands of possible combinations. The arsenal has also grown with the BK-101 shotgun, Rivington sniper rifle, SG9-X, Veaper, SG5-X and CR-75. Magnified optics use Picture-in-Picture rendering, while canted sights offer another way to switch between short and long-range aiming.

The update introduces the Trenches map and opens a redesigned hub with a shooting range for testing equipment. A new 2v2 Wingman mode replaces Bodybomb 5v5. Host migration has also been added so matches can continue when the original host disconnects.

Drones, remote-controlled cars, knives and several grenade types add more tactical options. The developers also reworked weapon animations, character arms, environmental audio and voice chat.

The interface has been rebuilt around an in-game tablet, while DLSS 4.5, FSR 4, XeSS 3 and frame generation support expand the graphics settings. Zombie mode is temporarily unavailable in v0.8 while it is being adapted to the new systems.
