Following BLACKPINK’s collective return earlier this year with DEADLINE, global sensation JENNIE is set to expand her solo repertoire. The multidisciplinary artist officially announced her upcoming digital extended play, Fallen Angel, scheduled for an imminent global rollout.

The project was formally revealed through Odd Atelier (OA), the creative imprint and agency established by the singer-actress. In an official statement accompanying the reveal, the label characterized the project as a deeply authentic endeavor: “This EP comes from a very personal place with the truest self-expression. A gift from JENNIE, with love.”

Arriving on August 28 across streaming platforms, the three-track offering features the title track “FALLEN ANGEL,” followed by “HEAVEN” and “Less Than a Lover.”

A Cinematic, Dark-Fantasy Visual Prelude

Accompanying the record’s launch is an official music video for the title cut, previewed via a striking, gothic-inspired teaser reminiscent of dark fairy tales. The opening sequence introduces a young girl clad in crimson inside a pastel, distorted dwelling, accompanied by a lone goose. A reflective voiceover spoken in Korean ponders the corrosive burden of mortal desires: “Human greed has made them grow so heavy,” she whispers as the perspective expands over a surreal neighborhood watched by looming, disembodied eyes amidst shifting waves and rolling mist. “But little one, close your eyes like I do. We can still fly. Free as can be.”

The preview transitions into a series of atmospheric vignettes depicting paired figures centered around slender white candles—ranging from moody vintage car silhouettes to an uncanny duo sporting custom dental grills inscribed with “Still” and “Love.” The sequence peaks with dramatic footage of JENNIE braving a torrential downpour with arms outstretched, followed by an opulent Roaring Twenties-inspired ensemble, concluding on a visceral, wide-eyed gasp directly toward the lens.
